Move Again

Well, I attempted to take my first bath in my new apartment today. I can't shower because there's no shower head.

Well, I filled the bath up to just below the metal plug situated halfway up the end of the bathtub wall, right under the spigot. When I climbed in, the water rose to the middle of that little plate and I heard a distinct sound of water splashing, I then proceeded to watch a stream of water run from under my tub out all over my painted concrete floor...

So I have to stand up, to let the water go down. I reach in quickly and unplug the drain hoping to release some water to lower the level. Unfortunately, the water only lowers about half an inch every ten minutes.

Needless to say... I'm having a bad day. I'm going to be calling the complex my ex-wife lives at now, the one I used to live in years ago as a bachelor, the one I wanted to live in when my ex and I were together and we DID move into... it might be weird to live in the same complex as my ex? But it's all good. They have the absolutely best price in town, they are situated nicely for me, and it's better than this rat-hole.

The tough part is going to be explaining to this property why they are refunding my non-refundable deposit. But it's gotta be done...

Today is gonna be a better day... period. I'm going to make it a smiley happy day.
